The Woodlake Community Association (WCA) was established by the Woodlake developer (Howard Homes) to protect the developer's interest during the initial Woodlake marketing and sales which began in 1976. Following the developer's sale of all Woodlake townhomes in 1986, control of the WCA was transferred to the Woodlake homeowners.
